Second-Order Statistics of Self-Splitting Structured Beams in Oceanic Turbulence

Free-space optical communication is restricted by random media-stimulated beam degradation. However, partially coherent structured beams modulated the coherence structure can potentially mitigate this negative effect. By employing extended Huygens–Fresnel integral, we provide an examination of second-order statistical features a common type partly beams, self-splitting in turbulent ocean. The implications turbulence parameters relating to ocean and beginning corresponding progression such propagation attributes are fully investigated. Our numerical outcomes show that, for with low-dissipation kinetic energy rate per unit mass fluid, small Kolmogorov inner scale, large relative strength temperature salinity undulations, dissipation mean-square has greater effect on beams. In addition, suggest effective approach, enhancing order reducing length lower oceanic turbulence-induced effects, thus have future extensive possibilities free-space communication.
